A 42-foot yacht ran aground in Nanaimo harbour this weekend
Josh Minami, Nanaimo Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue spokesman, said the incident occurred at Satellite Reef on Saturday at around 9:30 a.m. Marine search and rescue, a vessel from the Nanaimo Port Authority and two boats from C-Tow Marine Assistance Ltd. were on scene, he said.
There were three people on the boat when marine search and rescue arrived. C-Tow pulled the boat off the reef, Minami said.
