As a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the African Arts & Cultural Contributor Society launched a new program called La Teranga

Every week from August - November, we are providing food baskets of culturally relevant food staples to members of the African descent and black community living in Victoria, Saanich, Langford, Duncan, and Nanaimo. To qualify, you have to be of African descent and be low-income.

The baskets contain a mix of culturally relevant perishable and non-perishable food items. You only have to fill out this form once, and we will send you an email the week before confirming you will pick up your basket. A few delivery spots are available in the Victoria/CRD/Ladysmith areas every week.
