Nanaimo Rivers Day takes place on September 24th at the Bowen Park Lower Picnic Shelter. The event will honour Nanaimo's rich heritage of waterways.
Some of the events planned include:
- interactive booths
- salmon bbq hosted by Nanaimo & Area Land Trust
- live music by local bands
- guided stream walk
- Rivers Day tours hosted by Nanaimo River Watershed Roundtable (pre-registration is mandatory
